About SavvySeams.com
Why give out free patterns?

It's pretty simple, really. I like to sew and end up drafting patterns for many of the designs in my head. I thought I'd share. So, have fun on the site, and email any comments to comments@savvyseams.com. If you like what you see, please consider helping out with my hosting costs. You'll get a savvy set of SavvySeams 1" buttons.

Patterns, Copyright and Licensing

All fashion and design is inherently derivative; it's all just common cultural knowledge reworked through an individual's unique experiences and aesthetics. With this in mind, I've decided to license all the works on this website (unless noted otherwise) under a Creative Commons license. This means you are free to use, reproduce, or make derivative works WITH THE FOLLOWING RIGHTS RESERVED: Although it's not a requirement, if you do distribute or build upon my work, I would love to hear about it! It's fun to see your pet projects evolve a life of their own. For more information on copyright law and Creative Commons visit http://creativecommons.org.
